Of course I CAN Tell by seeing "hts", and for experts like us, we Know there are no full line stores in Illinois, so of course we Know it's a Hometown. But other people aren't as Knowledgeable as you or I, so it wouldn't take the OP more than an extra 5 Seconds to put the word "Hometown", in the bold title.
It's like a title, Saying a team from NY "Won the World Series", (when referring to a little league team in upstate NY Winning the Little League World Series, as opposed to the MLB, NY Yankees Winning the real World Series).
You can tell it is a HomeTown by the link (SearsHTSFloraIL). Reading comprehension is fundamental!
@1xeg+1jwkFkqz Poor people LMAO? These goofy @ss small-format stores, typically have like maybe 3 employees, 1 of which is the owner, and the second is his wife or kid. The third, probably being some high schooler or whatever, looking for Beer Money. This is not some massive layoff. And in many cases (1 recently in Washington state I recall), the owner is continuing operating his store independently, just without the Sears name. So instead of Sears Hometown, it could be Fred's appliances (or whatever). The association with Sears/Eddie just isn't worth it for some owners, who would rather run their own private store without that burden.
You mean Flora IL Sears HOMETOWN closing. Use the word HOMETOWN in your titles if that is the type of store that is closing. Thanks.
@1xeg+1jwkFkqz Shouldn't be too difficult finding a minimum wage job these days.....many places begging for employees.
Based on the list at https://www.thelayoff.com/t/1iW4BxsY , this brings the number of open Hometown stores to at most 129.
These poor people, losing their jobs right before the Holidays
There have been two previous posts (one of them mine) about this closing, and both were deleted. I don't understand why.
