From AA’s AMA, AA’s teams are bracing for layoffs in the middle of June, and yet he’s still busy inflating his ego by adding more layers of vice presidents? Watching this unfold, it’s both disheartening and infuriating. Leadership isn’t about titles or posturing; it’s about showing up with empathy, making smart choices, and putting your people first. He couldn’t read the room if it came with subtitles.
Instead of pouring $400K into another VP role or 3, why not invest in the people who are actually moving the work forward? These are the team members keeping everything afloat—and they’re the ones now living in fear of losing their jobs. It’s exhausting to see leadership prioritize prestige over people, especially when what we really need right now is clarity, compassion, and a sense of shared purpose.

She fixed the WiFi issues in 2 days of taking over, a real American hero she is!
She DESERVES to be our next CIO, ICS has been cleaned up in a mere few weeks.
Just three months into the CIO race, and he’s already trailing—fourth in what should be a three-horse competition. He lacks the respect of both his current and former teams, and instead of collaborating, he’s focused on building a siloed, isolated operation. If he had truly demonstrated strong leadership, he would have remained in ICS and perhaps taken on ETS. Instead, ICS now has a real problem-solver at the helm—someone tasked with correcting years of mismanagement in a matter of weeks.
Has he seen the redstripe report? He will need to let go of a few more workers to meet his double eye ego.
please don't drop VP's initials, mods could nuke the whole thread. as per site rules, one can name only top-execs.
I doubt this company actually pays $400k for the VP role. They might just create a flashy job ad with a high salary and interview a lot of job seekers. They will promote someone internally, like your leader who is as weak as the Wi-Fi connection here.
If you are looking into AA's eyes you are just seeing an empty head.
Just look into AA eyes for a while. I can see the nm vision in them. This visionary leader would have had a brighter future if he had been in the western part. He seems to have gotten stuck in the land of milk and cheese.
@m9+1jwes35pe: Heh, that's a good one. Got a chuckle out of that post.
You know, when it comes to AA , 'charisma' isn't exactly the first word that would jump to my mind- not for his looks, his leadership, how he speaks or carries himself day to day.
But If “charisma’ is the main ticket to the CIO spot in this company now, well, then goodness, we might all be in for an interesting ride
I'm from ESD and haven't worked under AA. He seems to be the most charismatic leader in the company. If they let go of DG, then AA will fill that role.
@jf+1jwes35pe
Ugh, so at NM, the hack is basically: live in Milwaukee, play the office politics game, and bo-m – promotion.
Like, it legit doesn't matter if you tank every single project, have zero leadership skills, and pretty much just wander around campus all day. So, AA's totally levelling up from this, while NM is just taking a massive L.
I've worked with AA. He said he way always promoted whenver his boss left. Seems like a winner to me.
I can’t fathom why DG and KS haven’t kicked AA and his crew out in a shake‑up by now. The guys a joke.
Fill out the survey, save the workers, cut the leadership! It makes sense now that he is cutting his teams to fill these VP roles. What a fricken joke he is to boost his “importance”.
Doesn’t he need a minimum of 5 VP’s one for each day to walk with?
When it comes to leadership, the impact of ego cannot be overstated and in the case of AA, it's become a defining trait. Heading ICS, his tenure was marked by significant bloat: teams ballooned, bureaucracy deepened, and decision-making slowed to a crawl.
Instead of streamlining and empowering, his leadership style seems to prioritize optics over efficiency. What that group is witnessing is not just growing pains it’s a replication of a broken model driven by ego-first decision-making.
Ask the question why KS was brought in to clean up ICS, yet he still survives? Living thought it that group should expect no less than 12 VP’s.
As a new employee, I’ve observed that the previous Corporate Solutions VP has retired, and from what I understand, there's currently no need to replace the role. It seems that bringing in a new VP at this stage could result in unnecessary overhead and costs. There's also some chatter suggesting that this might be more of a symbolic leadership position — one that lacks real influence unless it gains approval from AA. It gives the impression that authority in this area is more about alignment than function.
Okay, so, if this dude doesn't get the boot, like, ASAP, he's 100% going to recycle his ICS disaster. Watch:
Hire a bunch of clueless VPs who just nod along…
Suddenly he’ll have a massive team for...reasons...so he can look important…
Next Spoiler: every project will be a dumpster fire…
Then he'll just lie through his teeth and point fingers at everyone else
