Spinoff management company?

I don't know about you but this seems a bit suspicious

The CFMI holding company that Bill Jews created was a non-profit entity. The new management company is a for profit entity. Look it up with the State of Maryland.

I thought everyone already worked for the holding company CFMI that was created under CEO Bill Jews.

There is no spin-off. This is for accounting purposes.

This has been in the works for a few years. Basically, it consolidates the companies that employees “work for” to eliminate unnecessary administrative work.

I read the article. I think that there is an inherent duplicity in all these companies (GHMSI, CFMD…). I think they are trying to consolidate and eliminate extra work in accounting.

Yesterday it was posted on the intranet that as of 1/1/2023 all associates, contractors, contracts, vendor relations and assets will be moved under the CareFirst Management Company LLC. There's more where that came from.

Such a vague posting. What Spin-Off Company? You know not everyone is in the same meetings throughout the company. Bad assumption that everyone knows what you are talking about.
