At Walmart, "fast-paced environment" just means "permanent crisis mode," and "wear many hats" translates to "do three jobs for one salary." What's to miss?

I am 24, work from the home office, am treated very well, making more money than I deserve, and know that layoffs are part of any company ever. Crazy how negative people are about the home office. I have had a perfect experience and all the people around me love it here as well.
@OP Why would anyone worry about being laid off from here?
I assume you mean Bentonville and not Walmart in general.
Bentonville basically suks. When Walmart lays you off in Bentonville your options are limited. If you moved your family and bought a home and then get laid off, you’re totally hosed.
I don’t know. Once you figure things out it’s really easy to try to slip under the radar and just coast for entirely too long.
They will likely miss paying the bills and feeding their families more than the environment itself, dingus.
