Thread regarding Crown Castle International Corp. layoffs

Managers and below

Someone must give credit where credit is due. There are individual contributors who are holding up entire departments while getting ignored by DM and Directors. Those people also took on extra work after a massive layoff last year. It's easy to read through this site and feel the frustration of so many and its valid. There are places in this company that just dont care about the work or the customers anymore. It's all about positioning themselves into a good spot next year and using all of you to do it. Be proud of the work you have done and are trying to do. Whatever you decide to do after this, pay close attention to who from this company has influence over the next.

These d@__ managers. Mine has been su-king up so hard, it sounds like the Dyson testing lab around the office.

They are vying hard for a position is ready to throw us under the bus if they think it will get them good spots in the transaction. Meanwhile, the managers are driving everyone insane micromanaging so they can appear busy and needed.

I finished my final interview for a new job and just waiting for the offer. Clown castle is going to see just how much I did and my manager doesn’t know their butt from their elbow.

Small cell leadership will stay as it's going to be BAU under a different banner. Fiber leadership will be around and then it'll be a battle for who stays. This is the same as we saw with all the fiber acquisitions.

Not likely the new companies will be keeping CC managers unless it's in a reduced role. They have their own leadership and processes. They need ICs to keep things running not managers w bad habits.

The next RIF needs to focus on managers and Directors. "Leadership". Worst I've ever seen. Way, way, way over paid and unskilled.

Unfortunately, most if not all of the “leadership “ will end up at the new company EQT props up. Same bull, different logo.
