I’m so glad I decided to leave this company several years ago. I simply couldn’t stand their complete carelessness, greed and double morality. How can they say they their associates are first and sh*t when they keep treating them like this. If you loose your freaking job in NWA there’s practically absolutely nowhere to work besides a rental car agency or a convenience store. Very few lucky people get a job at Tyson or JB Hunt. They know this and they don’t care at all, their unemployment assistance stuff is a complete joke and waste of time. If you were not impacted, for god’s sake stop cheering Dougie and all the fake things they love doing to gas light associates. This is NOT correct and you are just enabling their behavior by pretending nothing happened….stop acting like robots, speak up, unionize or do something because you will be next.

Absolutely horrible, never even consider this place
Moved out 5 yrs ago and still posting here?
Bentonville will be the next Mumbai, thanks to Walmart. They’ve earned it.
I moved 5 years ago and was laid off in the February round. Agree that their Out Placement assistance is a complete joke - and the game they play by giving 90 day internal job search should be investigated by some sort of employment law fraud group. If you move to Bentonville and then lose your job at Walmart you are hosed. There are zero other options for employment in this area and zero help to find you a job elsewhere within the company. HR turns a blind eye.
It's a perfect place for super savers though - very easy not to spend if there is nothing to spend on in the first place
@az I agree… the city has nothing to offer beyond biking trails and fast food chains. Don’t believe all the hype (sponsored by the Waltons btw)…
For sure I’ll agree that anyone moving to Bentonville to work for Walmart should have their head examined.
