My past LL6 is on H1B and all his favorite fellow H1Bs are saved and left got sacked in recent layoffs.
And he happened to pull his wife on H4 visa few years back and she’s now a LL6!!
I’m sure there are same stories everywhere!!!

Not one stitch of material that was made outside of these United States.
Not one electronic component or solder that was made outside of these United States.
Not one ounce of any beverage I drink. Ir one pound of any meat or fruit or vegetable I eat has ever come from anywhere but these United States.

Idk if you’re joking, but you’re gonna have trouble with that expectation when most of the major electronic systems/components in your car are from non American supplier companies.
Real Americans refuse to buy anything that isn't Made In America by American companies using ONLY American materials!
Not a single piece of clothing or furniture or electronic in my home was made by a foreign company or uses a foreign material!
Buy American!!

The Americam Dream includes having a successful business. Thats exactly what the OEMs are doing.
Hiring less expensive workers is exactly how that's done. I have a landscaping business - and you can guess who I hire and how I pay them.
The OEMs don't owe you anything. Everyone here has been shouting that Equal Opportunity already exists. But not they feel they aren't treated fairly. You are. You just cost too much.
And this is being driven by our current administration (Trump/Vance) and his key advisor (Musk). H1Bs are a key part of corporate success.
I know atleast 10+ h1bs just in one group that were eliminated, if you find solace by complaining on something else or use this opportunity to milign some group that is just your nature. At the end of the day these were all employees once ford called as family and now banned for life with such an humiliating abrupt termination!!
Ford is off loading jobs to India and now Mexico and then giving the jobs here in the USA to foreigners, particularly Indians. Qualified Americans are supposed to be prioritized over foreigners! Yet large sections of our company (Credit comes to mind) is majority Indian. Why??? Cheaper cost is the ONLY thing I can think of. And where is the quality??? Coincidence?
It's sure hard to hear about the "American car company" gloating when it's obvious it's non-Americans that are prioritized for jobs.

I think you have no idea what you’re talking about, h4 is dependents visa, spouse/children, does not give work authorization, unless h1 holder has work authorization as well, that is can work for any company not the only sponsor, deep in gc process. still the question how one spouse can bring another to the same company, is there any violations of the policies
i used to think you should try to succeed on your skills, not your connections. d-mb idea. doesnt reflect our reality.

- guy gets technical job in USA for less money than USA person would be paid
- guy brings girl to USA to get technical job for less money than USA person would be paid
- throw in some side drama to show them triumphing over old white guys and political figures who are supposedly racist and s-xist... because all movies have pretty much the same political programming sl--t
scenes where they get special recognition at a town hall with bright lights and glamour will write themselves
- don't put in any scenes where the Ford foundation is brainwashing people to actually be racist and s-xist because Harvard and the Ford Foundation have made it clear through science (social science!) that only white people can be racist and only men can be s-xist... there is no such thing as reverse racism or reverse s-xism... the only way to heal past discrimination is present and future discrimination....
Hard to watch what has happened to Ford. I saw what good looks like and this isn’t it. Sorry to say but Ford is not on buy list. Never will be again. They have destroyed an American icon.

Most of the H1B are hard working trying to contribute to the success of this company. There are nutcases everywhere. Your LL6 may be one of them. That doesn’t mean all H1Bs are like that. My LL4 lifts up people like him and shuts the door on others. His peers who look like him are not the same. I understand it is very frustrating but please don’t generalize.
On an unrelated note, man, what a great husband to bring over his wife and then have the ability to for her to get that position. Kinda romantic. A real ford fiesta.
