Thread regarding Medtronic Inc. layoffs

You ever feel like you're caught in one of those old-timey bear traps?

When you're trying to leave, but you're not young enough to be the "fresh talent" everyone wants, and not old enough to collect that pension. I've got the skills, but all anyone sees is the mileage. Starting over would mean betting everything I've scraped together, and that's a fool's game right now. So I'm stuck playing corporate roulette, hoping I outlast the cuts. This isn't how I pictured my prime working years.

Start piling up cash. This company is a
soul stealer and morale buster. When you get enough saved to live for six months, QUIT. You will find something that meets your needs in that time.
Life is precious, don't waste the time you have been given by being pulled down into the mud.

Why does this sound like an old insecure mentally ill employee making posts to bring others down? While this may be true for some people, the frequency and language of these posts sound like an old dude
