Thread regarding Occidental Petroleum Corp. layoffs

What Happened?

There was a recent post throwing VH accolades and telling us how wonderful Oxy was and then...Bo-m...It was removed. Anyone that tells me that Oxy does not control the content on this site is certifiable...

Here’s some trolling g for you. Why doesn’t trump do his job by taking out those sc-m su-king SOBs in Iran. If they do that then the problem is solved for lots of countries. Then we just have to decide who manages the transition in Iran. Let’s start by getting rid of the religious control in their government and restore the rights to the people. Why
would any people let themselves be ruled by a bunch of religious people is beyond me.
Hopefully the US does not go this way.

There we go. We have blamed HR already. Now we brought in boomers. Are we missing anyone to blame? I forget, are millennials the good guys or bad guys? Depends on what day of the week it is I guess. I feel like someone is missing. Where is our friend with TDS? This site is soooo predictable! Gotta love it.

@ea+1jvtex1h7, I go back and forth on if you are joking or just being sarcastic because if you really believe that, you are delusional and have no idea on what the C suite does.

Executive Management at OXY more interested in spending time on things like this than actually focusing on driving revenue. They seek out these situations as a way to bond and assert control. Their preference for influence over impact is reflected in the company’s stock performance over the years.

So why would Oxy ask HR to monitor this site for sensitive information and not the legal department? Or how about the department that deals with external media? It makes me think you really don’t know what the HR department does.

@cz+1jvtex1h7 “The site knew it was obviously an all HR propaganda post, and not reality based”. So you think all the other posts ARE reality based right? So I guess HR is going to have to be a little more crafty so that they aren’t so easily identified. We (I mean they) are going to try harder to get our ( I mean their) message across in the future.

Signed, Not HR

The site knew it was obviously an all HR propaganda post, and not reality based, just like all the posters who called it out. The B S detector went off, and deleted that post.

Someone must of posted something that was outside this site's rules in a post, and they just removed the whole post. All I read was that VH had done a great job at not having layoffs like other companies are in the industry. Other companies were named, so maybe they were the ones that complained and got the post removed.

Why is a troll so bad compared to your average poster. Sometimes trolls are necessary to get this boring site going again.

Probably a troll post and was removed as such. As somebody already said, why in the world would Oxy remove a positive post about VH and the company?

I thought only the totally loser, weak, troll HR people post positive comments. Those HR people are the worst. Am I right?
