Creates an unfair bias of new employees vs old.
Trying to tell us that we’re paid the equivalent in base pay when everyone knows the expected equivalent !

The context is that existing Grade 7s keep the car allowance in some Geos whereas new G7s will be paid substantially less than their peers

For the ignorant comments below: that's a key benefit in multiple locations and a big component of the total compensation. Instead of higher base, employees get paid a car allowance that benefits Intel from a taxation point of view.
