The thrashing around about these tariffs is politically motivated fear mongering. China is negotiating tariffs now. Inflation is coming down, the CPI is moving favorably, the fed didn’t raise interest rates, middle income taxes are about to go down, no taxes on tips, no taxes on overtime, etc. My sister is a single mom nurse who works a lot of overtime so she can pay for daycare and rent and groceries. If her overtime wasn’t taxed she’d have some breathing room. She could four new tires instead of one. Don’t waste your time worrying about tariffs, it’s gonna shake out just fine.
