We have some massive reorg underway in CCG. Once that completes in 2 weeks layoffs in mid June.
I've heard similar situation in NEX from a friend

The frequent card shuffling is making Intel more and more dis-organized. Intel is like 'a blind cross the river'. Blindly shuffling card will not work at all, the set of cards are the same or fewer.
I am an Ex-employee and it is very sad to see the chaos. Any common sense will know how it is damaging the company. Each new CEO has no action but "shuffle" that make the company more unstable and lost of mind.
Managers managing managers...isnt that special. Seriously. Intel should be around 50K people. PERIOD...LBT will make it so
It's a made-up word used to trick students.
@e8 thanks Captain Obvious 🙏
This is a trick at Intel to avoid your bonus and pay raise. Did you know?
That 3 day weekend may just turn into a 3 month vacation. With stress.
Reorg will be mostly completed by May 30. Then starts the bloodbath to be finished by June 30.
@aa... seriously, you are worried about layoffs disrupting a three day weekend. I bet you are devastated if they make you work on Columbus day. Get a clue on what is important. Look at the bright side you will probably have the whole summer off this year!
I hope to hear more directors and above to be there complaining how unfair the new layoff policy is?
@bv this time it's different. LBT has sent directives to all management to streamline layers. The reorgs are done but it's been a reshuffle and hiding managers under other managers
Reorgs are ki-ling Intel. Every six months there is a reorgs at some level which impacts the first line employees. Every manager wants to prove that they are radically better than the previous manager and so they reorg. In a few months or years another manager comes in and trashes those "radical improvements" and the cycle goes on.
All this only shows up the poor quality of managers at Intel. Most often their only achievement would be their reorg!
Cards shuffling again.
@aj how do you determine someone is technical?
@ah.. tons of people in ancillary Director roles need to go..
a Director job title and no direct reports, so what exactly are they "directing" anyway?
How do they conclude a manager is not technical?
@ag any management that is non technical will be affected
Wow, so middle management is not targeted???
Get woke, go broke.
I’m here for the sh*tshow too. Left a year ago. New lease on life after leaving that abusive relationship. Enjoying watching the ship sink with bloated overpaid fools still thinking it’s a great place to work.
June 2nd week is what i have heard in CCG. Others maybe the same time. I heard PMs and FLMs and non technical roles will be affected most. Low performers as well
Mid June, right before July 4th holiday
Heard the same, though have heard two dates. Mid June and Mid July.
As someone who left the company last year, this is just comical to watch.. I'm sorry I only come here to hear the sh*tshow continues and never ends..
Most of your jobs don't really matter anymore, it's just a paycheck that's all.
I hope those impacted will land on their own, it's been hard to figure all my time at Intel was only for the paycheck, the work never really matters there..
