Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Any news on layoffs?

Has anyone been affected till now? What teams or levels are getting impacted?
Morale is so low given you can get laid off anytime soon.

Nothing works here. Even layoff is delayed or canceled at anytime. All will get a big rise bonus and go home together.

Exec & GM F2F meetings over the last couple of weeks. Will probably start seeing announcements within business groups/orgs by early next month if not sooner. I'd speculate that they want to get through most of the cuts by the end of June so they don't have to pay post merit salaries as part of severance.
