Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

So layoffs or not?

If yes definitely, what will be the severance packages?

Which meetings? The ones I listen specifically said they would not be the same or “they don’t know”

Hey please don’t touch or steal my package.

I don’t know why some people are saying the severance is different this year. It’s been confirmed in multiple QGS meetings by HR that it’s the same as last year.

I really wish OP would stop trying to look at my package.

It's unseemly.

Plenty of slimy Intel executives will be glad to give you the "Package".

They should sever OP's package so maybe he'd calm down

You hourly workers aren't getting anything. Just sent down the road with a big dead end on it.

Package is same as last years severance. Applications will be accepted but not guaranteed.

I overheard our HR rep discussing the layoffs and related packages as 'Fat Guy in a Little Coat'

Not sure I get the analogy.

Please, please stop using the words 'severance' and 'package' in the same sentence.

It really is creeping me out.

If the company wants to hand out some beer money to those it fired, then fine, but no need to get all medieval on them.

It's excessive.

I don't believe OP realizes that there is no package when he is terminated for roboposting.

It has been confirmed that the severance package will be a document with words on it, but that's not important right now.
