How is it comparing apples to oranges? Both process claims for third parties. Both have to follow Medicare regulations. If they are following the regulations then there won’t be any findings. If they aren’t they can and will be held accountable. The federal government won’t care if the states are also complicit in illegal activities. Who has the bigger pocket books? Feds follow the money. My guess is that if or when the feds investigate they will be clawing back any and all misused funds if fraud or abuse or waste is found.
