The pay is far from what it should be, the work is boring, and management acts like we’re disposable. Every day feels like a punishment. Why do we put up with this? There’s got to be something better out there.

Agreed with @ak+1jv6jz2y4, hold out for the VSP! If you give up and leave before that’s offered, then they get exactly what they want.
Be careful, this post might be trying to get people to leave prematurely. Make them pay you to leave.
