Thread regarding Lumen Technologies layoffs

Stocks head north, Lumen’s heads south

Dying dinosaur telecom sector taking it on chin. While regional and global investors look to AI and advancement in compute power and datacenter technology for growth. The d-mb pipe providers are just that, Fiber with zero value add.

Dude thinks he’s influencing investor confidence by posting on an employee lay off sight. He’s not an employee. Not an ex employee. Apparently also not the brightest short seller.

Wrong answer. Lumen is a good lottery ticket of a stock to buy. I may not like how Lumen sees Mass Markets but as an investor Lumen looks really good. As a Mass Market employee, not so much. At least they are transparent.

You must be on some low grade trading app, LUMN is up 28.66% in past 30 days, so as example if you put $10,000 in 30 days ago you would have made $2,866. Perhaps you meant to highlight that LUMN stock is flat and it's not going to 10, it will probably have a hard time getting into 5ives. And as the other poster said, the fiber biz is like being in the cookie biz, crowded and nowhere to go. The best move Kate has is to bake the sale.
