Now they are offering a voluntary severance plan! Do not, I mean do not take this plan! It is a scam and the company and its representatives purposely misrepresent the details of the plan and you ultimately lose most of your vacation time built up if you have been there at least 10 years and they lie about the 6 months healthcare coverage should you take the deal. Your insurance is literally stopped immediately with no notification. Fight for your job! The company is stating that they are automating their processes when really the work is being outsourced to India!

Lose vacation time….. what are you talking about? If you don’t use it, you lose it annually. Do you even work at EDJ?

Maybe the world is sue happy with crooked judges sometimes. Or maybe sometimes Jones just needs to follow the laws. Jones is passive aggressive when they post associate disciplinary actions every trimester. But, leadership cannot take it when court mandated disciplinary action is levied against them. I guess this is what it means to be working in partnership y’all.

The EDJ firm will be rolling into AI over the next 5 years as it takes over jobs, more layoffs are in store as they ‘trim the fat’ by using the guise of future infrastructure building. EDJ has a lot of redundancy and plenty of fat to cut, and it’s at the top management of the company and pay compensation, while under cutting every lower employee and parters as much as possible

Well quite a bit of this is pure lies. Vacation time is not built up, it must be taken every calendar year. I know several people who were ready to retire and took the severance package and it was just what they claimed, they didn't stop the benefits. Why do people spread lies?? Edward Jones is a great company to work for!! Are they perfect, no one is. I have been employed for 30 years and it is more like a family than any job I've held. Raymond James, Wells Fargo, Fidelity and many other companies have been in class action suits and paid millions in fines, it is part of being in business this day due to sue happy greedy people and the crooked judges that ever awarded such people with a penny!

They are streaming down and shedding to go public. Not immediately, but next year or two when the economy gets better.

Of course they are outsourcing it’s literally in the phases of the company plans for Enterprise Reimagined. This was easy to spot a mile away for those that are newer to the firm and don’t drink the EDJ Culture kool aid. You don’t hire a Chubak if you aren’t going that route. What do you think he did at Citi Bank? They legit are reverting all the outsourcing he was responsible for cause it does more harm than good. After all this settles I wouldn’t be surprised if they go public.
