If you can concentrate and actually get any work done with layoffs literally hanging over your head, then I envy you, because I can’t. I’m a nervous wreck and all I can think about is what’s coming. Not knowing exactly when it will happen is only making it worse. This is pure torture.

Same. I have a meeting with my boss tomorrow to discuss “Business Updates”. My anxiety is through the roof as it’s a tough job market right now.
My productivity is the lowest it’s been since I’ve been at Medtronic. Obviously lay offs aren’t a good thing, but c’mon leadership - it’s time to rip the band aid off.
