Thread regarding T-Mobile layoffs

it is time to leave

I would advocate everyone to stop working at T-Mobile for 2 reasons, 1, the job will eventually shifting to Indian, 2, the experience we've building is not helpful for next job. I would as leadership to do all the work from design/deployment/operation/customer care until they truly know how to run the business and create the real job for USA. not India.

The core network and ran folks have been red dot Indian for years. Where have you been?

a lot of ML/automation will be utilized in Core/RAN world, 5G does not have any new feature. it is not easy to move for next job if you working on Core/RAN. we are stuck, so it is better to get out soon unless you are in your retirement age.

ALL sales experience from TMO, even sales mgmt type, is valued extremely low on the actual job market. No matter what the level, it's immediately categorized as "retail". Very little value, folks....
Anyone complaining and wants to leave should explore their options NOW. Don't wait until you're laid off

Cannot agree more, CEO of Nokia is Indian, the majority of the products(Core/RAN) is Nokia product. it is not going away soon, the majority of the engineers/managers @T-mobile are Indian, they are just do anything they want, because this is a truly a win-win situation for Indians, no matter what the only party will benefit is India. E/// and Cisco and others vendor have similar situation.

I was definitely worried about being canceled but the number of Indians that are coming in large numbers and taking our jobs is worrisome. The worst part is that many lie about their resumes and are not all that. I remember training a team of 5 Indians thinking I was overwhelmed and they are going to help. Instead, they took my job in RIS. I am better for this because now I am a practice lead at a consulting company with a permanent work from home gig at my client. My work life balance is better. I was getting tired of dealing with Indians until midnight and getting up 645am to drive to work. T-Mobile is dying. Get out if you find something better.

Brighter future for all itches. You supported the acquisition and slobbed on JL’s knob. Now look at you. Look at what’s left after JL and MC got their millions and abandoned you. You, who drank the Kool-Aid, and dug your professional resting places. You deserve The Layoff.
