Even though it’s a New York state law, it will force X to post salary ranges for jobs in NY, Internal and External postings. This ought to be interesting.

This article says it only applies to jobs in New York City - there are no Xerox jobs in the City.
You people are incredible. Your salaries are low because of who you are, not where you work.

Correct. The salary range would apply to the applicants but people like us who are trapped in this he-l and doing the same jobs being posted will now get the benefit of seeing the salary range to help negotiate a better salary. The fact that they don’t provide salary ranges to everyone like they used to is really despicable.
This only applies to job applicants.
That I believe is for only jobs that are actively seeking employees. Not everyones salary. If your present job is like one they are looking for then yes, you will see your salary range. If your job is not one they are seeking to add/replace then no, you will not see your salary range. In the old days they would give salary ranges for every job available but that stopped long ago.
Time to submit complaints on company time
