Carbon Capture is a great play for sure. It will generate tons of cash. But, how about also adding to the portfolio something similar to what BP is doing?
Just don't want to be left behind.

comparing us to BP? Look their stock price and look to ours! BP is behind….
The US is very much in a “which comes first? The chicken or the egg?” Situation with EVs. Range anxiety is a top of the mind issue when deciding whether to go electric or not for consumers, but there need to be more EVs on the road for most to invest in EV charging infrastructure.
And EVs are a way better business than CCS. It’s just outside of California and New York, there isn’t enough penetration to make owning the EV hardware worth it..yet
When it becomes profitable to do ‘something similar to what BP is doing’ the you’ll see some investment. There is no clear path to profitability in renewables at this point. CC, as pie-in-the-sky as it feels, has some level of profitability that can be forecasted depending on the world’s (and various government’s) stance on emissions and tax credits.
