Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

State Farm investor news?

Does anyone know what their numbers are these days? If like most carriers, they are losing money but how much? They do not share this info to the public? Are they finally taking an auto rate increase in NY NJ?

A little searching on the internal intranet shows SF net worth was 132 billion in August.

McKinsey speculates $2B loss for SF ytd. Article says they were still writing CA wildfire areas when others were closed including Lloyds. Very late to file rate increases in NE with LR close to 113%. Rate increases still not adequate. That's why I worry about losing my job here. That's why I'm looking for "investor" news. I know they are a mutual. Little (except McK) shows up on google search.

What Investors? There are none. Thats not how a mutual company works. go back to school or at least use the internet for something besides po-n and social media.

Learn the most basic information about State Farm, then come back.
Every year there’s a published annual report. Warren Buffet has a tendency to capsulize it pretty well in Berkshire Hathaway’s annual meeting.
This year he pretty much said State Farm is crazy good at this business in spite of the fact that nobody gets rich off of it.

State Farm has no investors. It is a mutual company owned by its policyholders. They report their income every year. Try the Googles and do some research.
