I think it's sh-i-tty and cheap of Macy's to get rid of MM. It was a nice little pick me up on the rare opportunity that I got it (not a sales colleague) and I imagine it would incentivise people to purchase more. Now we're going to have quarterly awards with an award of $100. I think in a gift card. You'll still get MM for credits but other than that, it's a goner. Macy's: penny wise, pound foolish

Does AP still do Macy’s money as security awards? I thought we get the awards on our checks. Only leased department teams get Macys money if they help stop theft.
How come managers dont get MM from AP?
MM for AP and credits will still exist
Macy’s money was discontinued at our store several years ago with the exception of credit/ bronze game cards that printed automatically and AP rewards.
As a Manager that came into a very underserved and undermotived store...this SU-KS. I used MM to reward my associates for great service and execution. It was the one thing that brought a smile to our associates. Donuts will go so far esp with such antiquated pay restrictions here. And this "Hospitality" gimmick...aint gonna last long.
Shopping in person lost it's charm 30 years ago. Bit by bit.
One just has to look how holiday shopping got cheapen. They made Christmas shopping longer, but without the charm.
Took away Thanksgiving. Plus many other more smaller holidays.
Made Halloween an adult play date with large doses of evil starting in September and took the charm from children.
Stores and malls have little if any charm.
So why go out to celebrate and spend.
MM still exists.
AP will still give MMfor now, but I'm sure it could be scaled back too. Double awards went away a few years ago.
The MM was nice but it was also a huge profit drain for stores that didn't control it. I worked in stores that would print it at an extreme level.
What are they doing with Loss Prevention MM?
No one shops anymore except on Amazon. Macys is like Sears from the early 2000s but lasted longer than they should've
