U.S. Engineers start in the low 20's CL range and generally get a bump after 1-2 years. The next bump will depend on ranking and YEE and can take another 5 years or so. Once in the mid-twenty CLs, things slow way down. About 80% of folks will never reach higher than CL27 so just do the math for a career that starts in the low-20s and ends at CL27 to get some idea of time in each CL.

Depends on ranking and time in cl until you get to 27.then you're just there for forever now.
