From the earnings call, looks like there might not be any additional layoffs unless the situation becomes bad?

Makes sense. Why would we pay someone higher because they live in the Bay Area. Either move to San Diego or get a pay cut.
Relocate from Foster City because pay is higher. Some also had the option to stay and take a pay cut. This isn’t about RTO, the executive pushing this doesn’t live in San Diego
RTO again?
Today I heard form several AD or director that they were asked to relocate from Foster city to SD by Xmas. Why would you force those ones to relocate if we are still working from home? unless by end of year there is a mandatory RTO policy.
getting rid of San diego guy -- there is a limit to trolling. Yes the US dollar is also going to zero, hyperinflation is coming.
But not tomorrow. Have some sanity
I wouldn’t be optimistic about it. Rounds of layoffs have been consistent for several years and the rate of layoffs has been accelerating. It is likely time to abandon ship.
Does anyone know if they've discussed getting rid of the San Diego site all together? I imagine it's expensive.
RIF will continue in GO until our revenue increases or all jobs are moved to low cost region. Someone has to pay for investors bottom line.
Newbie here. What does "Commercial" mean? What level of the organization? Who is part of it?
Most likely in the coming months with upcoming regional restructure (merging old APJ & GC; Europe & Emerging Markets). Will eliminate role double ups. Commercial will be impacted. That is why a lot of the commercial ELT have been in Asia recently, including this week (rumour is Jenny will move to Singapore to head up new APAC region)
New rumors are July/August but more commercial impacted this time
Do not fret over when is the next layoff if any. In this round of layoff at APAC, the cycle of past layoff just repeated. Rank and File personnel of good work standing are decimated and those under performer who are good at making their superior happy get to keep the job.
As far as APAC is concerned the dead weight, managers, senior managers, associate director, director and senior director are immune with not even a scratch.
Was on a call last week and the inference was that there is another RIF coming. Given the recent history expect something on July.
Are there legit rumors about July/August layoffs or just speculation?
people here still have hope! Thats funny to see after recent events .
Make no mistake, more layoffs are coming in July/Aug around the break after budget cuts and tariffs sink in. earnings numbers are propped up by continuous layoffs and more will be required to continue numbers at the same level in a worsening macro environment. Few get this but dRevenue + d(saved revenue from layoff) = constant earnings.
July/August
They did not highlight a need for additional savings which can be construed as no additional layoff. But they didn't rule it out explicitly either.
Depends on agenda. You can never rule it out... Who knows, maybe we'll have more layoffs to even further cut cost
