I’ve given up. I’m willing to accept a lower-paying but more decent job. The levels of toxicity, stress, and exhaustion just aren’t worth the money. I can’t even remember the last time that navigating tense work relationships, dealing with excessive bureaucracy or unqualified people, and enduring poor management led to an outcome that justified the personal toll. It turned into nothing but obstacles with no reward a long time ago.
