Following up on my post abt my current situation. I put my two weeks in on Monday. I have a job lined up with a personal connection who helped me immensely. I can’t wait to not deal with sh-tty leadership and sh-tty office culture. My direct report was pi---d when I told them abt this, I’m happy to have the chance to move on to something not toxic

Whatever your role - always be focused on building relationships and advocating for your customers…. I was in sales for 25yrs and was praying to God & baby Jesus ever since Quaker / F-L guys were offered VRP in 10/23 that they’d come for the beverage folks next with packages …. Ran out the door ( with my package in hand ;) now I am double-dippin’ thru October (making more in my new job than what I was with PEP) and STILL getting calls from former customers inquiring about my availability…. get those tentacles out there
Congratulations on getting your get out of jail card. Many are next!!
Congratulations on the new job. I took VRP last year and have not regretted a minute of it. Management of the company is horrible and t keep adding more managers to this mess to fix the mess of other managers.
@OP+1jtmjzafm Good luck and congratulations on finding the exit from this daily nightmare. I hope to be right behind you and have sent out numerous applications over the past year. The job market is horrible now so I am realistic regarding my chances but the long game result if successful will be all worth it. I have only been here 7 years but in that relatively short time I can accurately say this is the most toxic major employer I have ever been associated with and the management the most incompetent. And I have been in the job market for many decades, so I have seen a lot. I hope this post inspires others. Know that this you are not alone, there is light at end of this dark tunnel and brighter days lay ahead. Although I do not take in joy in those losing money on the company's stock (I never invested in this garbage company, but I know others have) - there is something serendipitous about seeing it tank and knowing the clowns who run this horrid organization probably have lost millions already.
