So no Merit increase but Steve wants us to vote on his pay increase. What an absolute crock of s***

Just had a thought, anyone brave enough to ask Steve if he's taking part in the no merit increase!?

It hadn't been a "merit" increase in a long time.

It was confirmed in the Town Hall as a "...tough decision that had to be made..."

Is "no merit increase" legit? Or is this hearsay?

Is a 1and 1/2 percent increase really a merit .. Seems like a slap in the face to those that have tried to right this sinking ship .

14 down arrows for correcting an exaggeration. This is why you id--ts still work at XRX. Can’t tell fact from fiction.

“Xerox has not given merit increases probably 70% of the time over the past 15 years or so”

Not true. My team and I have never missed a year until now although merits were always small. Had to get promoted every year or two to make it worthwhile. Bonuses usually good

why is anyone surprised? Xerox has not given merit increases probably 70% of the time over the past 15 years or so, due to some corporate crisis, but corporate officers and exec bands still manage to get huge increases and severance packages. Absolutely no one in Xerox has confidence in SB and JB, they really need to go

I'd be even more inspired if they asked us to SHARE THE PAIN:

No unnecessary Exec Travel - Ex. F1 races (let the local team take the lead).

Cancel CEO Club (if every cent matters).

Forgoing ANY Exec/Board Compensation increases (as is being voted on at the Annual Shareholder Meeting) until the Reinvention is declared, "Acheived."

Etc., etc., etc.

Stop making the team rowing the boat absorb all the negative consequences, until the SLT feels it to the same degree in their shiny new HQ digs.

Vote no for these muppets, it takes one minute and the voice needs hearing

Now Steve is rambling on - cut the sh--e. Also I find it hilarious that mirlanda talks about saving costs and doing this and that - she said ask yourself if a cost can be delayed etc. Yet aren’t they sending a couple of hundred people on a trip to Puerto Rico?
