Thread regarding Medical Solutions layoffs

Notices

Managers were told they are to call employees staying on today and those who are not staying are not being told anything. Keeping employee who aren’t staying in the dark. They are just trying to make people quit in order to avoid paying out severances. Total BS

I don’t see how by not telling someone if they’re losing their job and then telling someone else that they are keeping their job pushes out people who haven’t gotten a notice yet but also not told that their position isn’t being eliminated. That doesn’t make any sense at all. Because once you DO get your notice, they’re still paying you for another 30 days unless you decide to leave on your own. Hopefully, for a new position somewhere else.

No offense, but I think wherever you “heard” this from, maybe stop listening. There have been so many over the top “I heard” things since this transition started that’s it’s really just ridiculous now. If you haven’t heard anything about your job but worried that your position is going to be eliminated, then update your resume and start looking for something new. Nobody likes starting over, it su-ks. But make a plan. You’ll feel a lot better once you do.

The point is that they aren’t telling people whether they are moving forward are not- meaning they aren’t giving them a notice right now even though the managers and company knows they will not be offered one of the open onshore positions. So they will not receive their notice while others are being told their jobs are safe. My guess would be to get people who aren’t being kept to quit now rather than sticking it out for their severance.

So basically anyone who hasn't gotten the 30 days notice and still have no idea what's going on with their jobs, if they didn't get a call, most likely they are no in the move forward plan and will get their 30 days notice next?

If someone is no longer going to be with the company why would they need to know any future state of the company? Your statement makes no sense. Those that got their 30 day notice gives zero sh--s what happens - doesn’t affect them.

Is this referencing medsol specifically or a family brand?

Credentialing managers were brought into a meeting yesterday and were told they are to tell the people on their team who are moving forward with the “go forward plan” but if you aren’t being kept, you won’t be told anything. Trying to keep people in the dark per usual. WRS training will start taking place next week.
