This silence in office is calm before the storm or layoff concerns overly hyped here?

If history repeats itself, and it always does, the least competent most lazy but biggest su-k ups will be retained in leadership roles, which just means more work for no more money for those left to do the work, so I’ll be dusting off my resume either way.
That's all that's been seen since Husky merger. One round of layoffs after another interrupted by periods of quiet and speculation about the next upcoming round. I swear HR and senior management just get their jollies seeing how far they can push peoples buttons until they crack. It's a real sideshow of a company.
There are credible folks saying they know about “layoff” or job eliminations in the U.S. coming next week. They are multiple different areas of the company.
If leadership actually communicate with some transparency there would be no overhyping. Telling people there are coming layoffs followed by five months of speculation with little to no communication from leadership and zero exec presence or even a town hall is not a way to operate. It’s a waste of company resources, ineffective, and cruel.
overhyped as usual.
May the 4th be with us…oh wait that’s a Sunday. Let’s pick the 6th.
Calm before the storm.
