I recall at the end of August and into early September I gave some high-level information about some potential layoffs but didn't want to go into a ton of detail because I needed to protect myself. People doubted me and were rude when I was trying to help, here is the thread as a reminder

Please come tell me again that I was wrong, that I was fearmongering or had no information. If it wasn't for people being rude and doubting everything, I may have posted more information to help the impacted people, but this is what you get when a bunch of trolls get involved and purely want to cause problems. And for people thinking you have to be a part of the C-suite to have known that information please stop being so d-mb. Outsourcing and using vendors of this magnitude take many months to plan if not up to a year. It involves numerous individuals and groups of teams to be involved before an announcement is made to employees, people you may have thought were friends or trusted colleagues were working on this but couldn't say anything because they may lose their jobs.
To the people that doubted me, I laugh at you, I pitty you and I hope you can somehow find a better life.
To those impacted, I'm sorry. This news sucks, it's a tactic to cut costs and move expenses. I hope you find something better and have successful lives (however you individually define it). I don't think there have been any public news written about the developments, maybe you can go to the press to let them know what is happening.
