Total mismanagement and it continues. A few more layoffs will help. Good luck everyone.

Last post is accurate. We’re five people under and have been told we can’t fill the positions in the US. It has to be Mexico or India. Our shifting has begun.

Don’t daydream. Location strategy of outsourcing jobs isn’t going to go away. Leadership has short term mindset and short term thinking to save their own a$$. All of the teams I interact with have been given directives to only hire in low cost countries. You try to beg for resources to be hired in US and you will hear a BIG NO. Comes top down. Little does leadership realize that their location strategy has led to disaster after disaster. Total cost of business has gone up, quality of work su-ks, too many mid level managers to manage resources in India and Mexico. With Finance teams in Mexico, no one knows who’s spending the money and what is the money being spent on. The company's outsourcing strategy is a total failure, fueled by leadership's self-serving priorities. The results are in: skyrocketing costs, subpar quality, bloated management structures, and a financial mess characterized by:

  • Inaccurate budgeting and forecasting
  • Untracked expenses and lack of accountability
  • Overbilling and disputed invoices
  • Inefficient resource allocation and utilization
  • Delays and scope creep due to miscommunication and cultural differences

The financial chaos that ensues is a direct result of leadership's failure to prioritize strategic decision-making over short-term gains. Yet they will continue to outsource

They had better hope a tax isn't imposed for outsourcing jobs to other countries. If he really wants jobs in the US, that could be a big possibility.
