Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Intel should be embarrassed.

There’s been a burst of demand for Intel's older laptop CPUs because of tariff fears and consumers are avoiding 13th and 14th generation chips like the plague.

Who’s responsible for releasing defective intel chips into the marketplace? Engineers techs and testers can’t make that call. Only the overpaid elite executive branch can make that call.

Intel actually has large validation teams. The problem is a lot of engineers working on those teams are silly and don't write good tests — AI won't. Therefore it just is like that.

At least the older stuff doesn't have as much TSMC silicon in it. Should help margins

You can thank Jim Keller for discounting the role of validation.

What do ya know, people don’t want to buy junk. Way to go losers. Once you lose your reputation the customers NEVER come back.
