I just reached out to my Governor about Medicaid recipients and the sharing of PHI with other countries since my state is actually a client of GW. Also questionioned why such a poor state can justify sending millions of dollars overseas for foreign workers. Let’s get this ball rolling shall we.
Gainwell is bragging that they have a 2,025 work force in India. There goes the U S jobs!
NTT has better benefits than Gainwell. NTT leadership is also getting to experience how fu--ing terrible Gainwell "leadership" is.
Hello, we are reporters looking at work being done overseas by Gainwell, its employees and associated companies based outside of the United States. Specifically, we would like to talk to current or former employees about the rebadging process, changes in assignment and the volume of work being performed outside the U.S. We are looking to learn, not to quote anybody. Nobody will never know you contacted us. As you saw in the first story we wrote, we don't quote anonymous sources, so you can't accidentally be burned. We just want to learn more about offshore work. We can be reached at jholland1@bloombergindustry.com or ccastronuovo@bloombergindustry.com.
We appreciate your help. John Holland and Celine Castronuovo.
Would the OP please let us know the name of their new company, if it is not NTT or Infinite. Is there a third one in play now?
What is Infinite? I cannot find a site for them.
I was told AP is moving to NTT. Known that for awhile.
so, this question has an answer that depends greatly on the company that you are being rebadged to.
some of the ITO folks reported that things were actually better at NTT.
Infinite on the other hand... not so much. Less PTO, less sick time, they have a very strange pet peeve about people working more than 40 hrs per week, even if you are Salary (which means no overtime, so you pay stays the same) but still frown upon nonetheless.
Benefits are lesser across the board. all I can say from personal experience is this : if you are getting rebadged to Infinite... find something else ASAP.
the bottom line, regardless which company you end up, is this: Gainwell does not want you as employee anymore.
do you have 20, 25 or 30 years with the company?... they will kick you out all the same. your name is in the contract so that means you're safe, right?... think again, it did not saved some folks in the testing practice. I'm client-facing so they surely won't do that to me!, would they??!... wrong, they absolutely will. my account really appreciates me, I'm sure they would do everything in their power to spare me the aggravation... wrong... they won't lift a finger, specially if they were never notified in the first place.
all these things and more happened to people in the testing practice. being rebadged to Infinite has been very detrimental for us. But, this is what Gainwell wants, to get rid of as many people as they possibly can, so the numbers look good; to offshore as many positions as possible, and the ones that can't be so easily, rebadge so the new company does the offshoring instead, and obscure what is really happening as much as possible.
if you remained in Gainwell, the future is also very uncertain. it seems its only a matter of time for you to be rebadged to the other company, at best, or at worst, to be WFRd as a gainwell employee. This too happen to resources in the testing practice.
if you put it all together, as many of us have already, you will reach the same conclusion... that it will continue to happen; more and more people will be rebadged out of Gainwell. if you have dedicated your entire professional career to this company (and its many variations... dxc, hpe, hpe, eds)... it will be a pretty hard pill to swallow.
first it was low-grade WFRs, non-stop, month after month. Little by little Gainwell started decimating teams. Now its rebadging. if rebadging its not enough to achieve Veritas goals, they'll come up with something else.
If you have just been notified that you and your team are being rebadged, I'm truly sorry to hear that. I really am. I do not wish this upon nobody. Hopefully you will end up in a better place, but if its Infinite... run!
What area is being rebadged now? For the ITO team members, some of the benefits were better.
Correction to my last reply. Testers went to Infinite Computer Solutions, not Imagine
Did they say you are being moved to a specific company, and that you will contract back to Gainwell, as an employee of that company? If so, you will get the benefits of that new company. I am aware that ITO folks went to NTT. Testers went to Imagine (or something like that). Are you in one of those categories?
Whatever benefit there is, will not be for any employees, rest assured.
