Has anyone heard when a layoff or reorg is planned?

Agreed on shared services. Not only were they always way over staffed they'll now be supporting half the company they were two years ago. We're so far past acquisitions we should easily be able to run tower on well under 1500 people. Bill rent. Collect rent. Pay employees, pay the landlords. Its not rocket science. No matter how much the long timers would like us to believe otherwise.
Doesn't take a genius to realize they have to offset the 7 billion loss from the 15 billion they invested in buying all those fiber companies. Of course there is going to be layoffs. Towers folks are not safe at all just because CC sold fiber and SC. The only “safe” positions are the ones going with EQT portion of the sale.
The perimeter list are people who are either not related to anyone, outshine their manager or who dared speak up. Period.
Property, real estate, sales, accounting, finance, bs, IT.... They're getting cut. I'm hoping the EMT has the sense to look at the managers instead of the "perimeter" list. If they continue with the web of family relations and friends they'll be sc--wed. They need to reclaim the company. It should have never been this hard.
Easily 80% of the managers and Directors and even project Managers in shared services are there due to some form of nepotism. And can't carry water with a bucket. When they're the only ones left the stockholders can kiss Crown goodbye.
REITranscommunication Company sounds about right.
That’s what happens when a real estate company plays dress up and identifies as a telecom company.
Whomever said that shared services is going to be deep, they are definitely correct coming from someone who is already in the "perimeter". I am not sticking around as there are far too many opportunities for me right now but I can't wait for CC to try to get a simple answer that someone with some experience knows but for which the leftovers can't answer to save their lives without a couple of weeks of research. It is going to take some time to rebuild what they are sending off to EQT/Zayo and in the end, they are going to end up paying just as much.
Cuts are going to be in shared services and they will be deep.

With the field tower ops folks taking on more CX work and drones it’s looking more like a outsourcing is about to happen.
It's been unusually quiet if you ask me. Something must be happening unexpected and an announcement to come soon.
No, but please let me be one of the ones laid off.
