This site is great for a few laughs. I estimate less than 1% posting here know anything about business, reality, or XRX. To the genius that thinks there is due to the lack of backfills, take a look at XRX revenue trajectory and try to connect the dots. Don’t hurt yourself.

Buddy manager system sounds like a union. We should make a union.

He is right... there is a lot of extra cash considering all of the roles that haven't been refilled.

Bonus? Raise at year end? Are you crazy? This company has no money. They're not going to spend it on someone they can easily replace. Just hire somebody that thinks getting into Xerox is a dream come true.

Good luck with the buddy system at xerox.

The buddy system at xerox is they call you into the main office. They sit you down in a room. They close the door. They say….”listen buddy we need you to cover 3 guys that are on vacation the next two weeks. I will be unavailable an in a seminar all week.”

Thats xerox. No peter pan garbage. They just use you up like an empty pack of gum, and throw you away. What reward are you gonna get? A swift kick in the a_ss and them saying “paywise we are happy with where you are….or …you’re maxed out in your tier, sorry”

As far as peter pan goes. I always preferred JIF 🫙 peanut butter anyway. 🥜 just saying…

At Xerox, we use the manager/buddy system. No more flying solo. You need somebody watching your back - AT ALL TIMES. Second off, you're gonna learn to discipline your image. You think I got where I am today because I dressed like Peter Pan over here?

More like stab people in the back. Solid? Like a hard head know it all.
Don’t need an elitist manager who cannot be troubled with the problems of the peasants.

To many people that control the company that think they are God’s gift to man. By simply looking at you, they are doing you a huge favor.
Save it. No one needs to be patronized.

You sound like you have a really solid manager. Those are the type of people you want to
have watching your back at all times. I don't know if it's a generational thing but people are so quick to trash their job these days.

My boss said it will be fair.
So i got 2 tickets to the fun fair up the street. (the cost will be deducted bi monthly from your check)
Don’t say i never did anything for you.

Completely useless people running this comedy club and sh_tshow.
I would feel safer in a jet in a nose dive headed towards the desert floor.
Wait I am in a jet headed in a nose dive headed for the desert floor!! And. The pilot is joining the mile high club in the bathroom!! Welcome to xerox.

My boss is a fool. He left the ledger sheet of salaries on his desk about 2 years ago. He sent his team leader to get something from the office. He saw the ledger sheet. It caused a lot of bad feeling between people on his team.
Some people that have been there a long time were grossly underpaid. Other newbies were doing pretty good.
I think the team leader should not have said anything about what he saw, but he didn’t. Wouldn’t you think salary rates would be a high security thing?
There are a lot of people to blame and it was accidental. But it got out of control at that point. It truly escalated big time. That was 2 years ago. Fortunately enough people have left here because of other issues, to make this somewhat better. Just some food for thought. Shaking my head on what people are thinking these days.

You can bet your last penny we are underpaid for what we do everyday.

So tired of going through a review, waiting 6 months, and they cry poor mouth. Gets really old…
Tell the executives that they don’t need a new cigarette boat this year. The old one works just fine. You don’t need to get across lake michigan in 11 minutes to have lunch with your girlfriend.

Just saying… use the limo and take a 1/2 day off. Think about it. 🚤 what an out of the box idea.

How bout stay in the office, take a lunch from home, and call your wife and tell her you love her? And then pay your people for staying here and doing the job of 3 folks. Great for starters. Just thinking out loud. 📢

My last manager at xerox. Would not answer the phone. No meetings. Did not return texts. But occasionally would send out group texts, about focusing on pretty useless stuff. Stuff that the company already sent an email about. He would resend it out and call that communication. Totally true.

No technical help in any way. Apply for a vacation day and it would never go on the calendar until like the morning of that day. So you never actually knew if he got the message or it was approved.

Just the little i told you, which is actually true, would you wonder why xerox has so many problems and issues?

No wonder in my mind.

You get what you deserve, which is nothing. Now…get out there and do the work of 3 people and don’t ask any questions. I will be at the g-n club and then going out on my boat. Carry on with out me.

Sound hauntingly familiar?

Xerox is a trash company with nothing but revenue declined and only pays out dividends to their rich investors.

Expect zero to no bonus, and definitely a small to non existent raise.

Maybe they will throw you a bone, fire your buddy, give u a small raise but expect you to do your buddy’s job as well.

THAT’S Xerox. A laughing stock.

Nobody is underpaid. You are working for the rate you agreed to accept in exchange for your labor. That makes your pay level perfect. When you want a raise, find a new job. If anyone out here could read a financial statement, or at least understand a press release, you would all realize there is no additional compensation coming. Pay or staff reductions or furloughs are what you should expect.

AskHR will not divulge min, mid, and max salary levels for specific pay grades. They claim that it is "classified" information.

Just imaging working for a company where the company won't even tell the employee what his pay scale is. That's today's Xerox.

Does anyone know what the midpoint of their paygrade is? Are we all below it and are we underpaid?

You could work for a company that has a bonus - successful people do. Lets talk about your non-transferable Tech Power House skill set and unemployment benefits first.
