Heard a lot of sales people impacted. The funny thing is DeBlasio is still at NetApp. WHy?

The guy has a record of being a FÜÇK ÜP, and he got hired anyway. SMH.
I had been on the Weekend night tech support team (level 2). They did not tell us the numbers, but I believe there were 7 peolpe let go today from my team. This was across Wichita and the RTP. This was 7 out of about 20 support engineers. The support team for weekend night had already been short staffed. I was not allow to take vacation at the same time as another guy on the shift, because he and I were the only two engineers who had a certain skill set. Now

George K. here. Sorry you were impacted but I need to keep my job, and to do that I had to lay people off because that's what all mediocre CEOs do when they can't grow a company. Don't worry though, me and Caesar have a plan. We will be travelling to all NetApp campuses to build up our frequent flyer miles, and take a bunch of selfies with the people who are still with NetApp. We will also be sharing our plan to grow to $10B in revenue without a single innovative product or service. If that effort fails, we can always have another layoff.
Together, we are building a brighter future for NetApp. Except for those who are no longer here.

I was impacted. badge and email cut off today at 5pm. Will be paid thru JUne 27th or so. Then get one month severance.
