They're ALL thieves! Point is, don't think anyone from Elliott is gonna be any different. The entire board should be fired! The ELT should be gutted, removing anyone who has never worked in a refinery! The IT money hedgers should be gone too! Anyone notice how many contractors are now playing the P66 ranks for fools? There are contractors in the building building their brand and ordering around P66 employees with proxy rights from leaders who are hands off and flying high. So yeah the ELT, next level management, and Elliott are PREDATORS!
Predators? They are bringing ideas. They are bringing what sounds like discipline and focus. And maybe even some energy.
This ELT have none of that.
They like their planes, their private islands, their exclusive retreats with themselves, and hoping the results are good. There are no detailed reviews or real accountability for bad behavior or poor results.
So, yeah, some employees are ready for a change. We own this company as well and have a vested interest in its success.
You treat the typical employee as a necessary evil that you hope to discard if you can find a way to streamline the processes and systems. But you can’t. You are not willing to even do that work.
Anyone who thinks Elliott won't enjoy this like the rest of them is as naive as Elliott wants you to be! Don't be a fool! All ELT types will enjoy the benefits of being ELT! What the he-l is wrong with you hopefuls! Don't let one bunch of predators eat you while you run away from the other!
I don't think Elliott cares one bit about Stoney island. Heck, the only reason I care is the optics of cutting benefits and laying people off while keeping it. It's not a substantial impact to the bottom line.
Y'all need to get out of your head that Elliott cares about making us a lean mean fighting machine. They care about selling assets, and buying back shares. That's it. All the talk about how p66 has wasted money with consultants for no benefit, etc is fluff talk to swing votes their way. Literally the only thing they care about to moving the share price as fast as they can and dumping it.
They deserve it, for doing such a great job.
