We know some people are trying to wait it out. However it seems that people who did nothing prior to ER are now using all their time to su-k up to GPs and backstab their colleagues. Other good people are so disgusted (and principled) that they'll walk away without even waiting for a VSP.
Given we're now run by heartless New Yorkers, it seems like this is all carefully orchestrated to drive as many people away as fast as possible.
That's what they mean by doing this from a position of strength. They are strong, associates are powerless.

Left the firm late last year after 10+ years at Jones. This rings true to me. The firm has lost its way. I hope it can find it again. There always was a balance between the client experience, the associate experience, and financial results. They were three legs of a stool. The financial results took strong priority around 2021 and the stool has tipped over. Enterprise Reimagined is the penance.
I couldn't agree more. The new technology that rolls out constantly is horrible. They are trying so hard to make work difficult for everyone that they hope you quit. It is so exhausting and depressing.
