Nvidia has been nurturing and growing GPU expertise for over 20 years.

They have the best GPU due to stellar hardware and software engineers. Their software engineering is multiples the size of hardware engineering which also show how critical software is to GPU development.

Intel has no clue what they are up against.

How much do we invest/waste on AI? Nvidia is basically a one trick pony. Why can’t our GPU just copy Nvidia’s? What is wrong with our AI and GPU strategy and execution? FUBAR top to bottom. Only one explanation: Nvidia has better engineers and management.

Brutal graphic... look at the lack of product diversity too... slow growth markets with increased competition from direct (AMD) and indirect (ARM) competitors...

Meanwhile the new businesses are huge profit drag with very strongly entrenched competitors. What a mess.
