Thread regarding US Foods layoffs

I wasn't interviewed either. They probably thought to just get it off who was closest on the camera and didn't think about who knew anything before it happened or days before. They didn't even try to even see if there were some things that involved the same folkes cuz some did and some that never made it out. They told us he never asked the folkes he investigated if there were any other incidents or things he should know. Old boy was lost.

There is another lady manager here this week and we thought she was still doing an investigation but she is not. We heard from a lady whos daughter works in our office by HR that the investigation is ocer. And they havent talked to me or everyone that was close. They didnt talk to his closest friend here and not the man who trained him to see why or what he was thinking and what was like. I know some sh-t and no one talked to me. They just trying to prove it was us and the argument that made it happen but that is NOT RIGHT. Arguments go down at work at many jobs I worked at before but it is too easy to bring them in here and that is why it happened. Its like the USA, more shootings happen because g-ns are easy where other places they have mental problems too and arguments but they dont have the g-ns as easy so nothing happens as much. After we saw nothing happening when other things went down here, people grew strong that they could get away with sh-t so they kept getting worse. And now, the same ole sh-t. Please protect us and do this right. Bring in someone not legal that know how to investigations work and speak to everyone. Come on man! They still are doing what they do here because they don't trust your mall cops and they arent checking nothing here. They just pretend. Even when they do, they too far from the doors so they can put things through then walk around and scoop it and come on in. If y'all dont know that, that worries me. But who did the investigation? Why didn't they talk to everyone the sho-ter knows and the friends of the boy and his brother that he tried to hit? If its true that legal manages security, why are they doing the investigation. Its going to have a sl--t that way. They gone put the blame on us and not the bad security. This hole thing is jacked.

I work for US Foods but in a different distribution center near Montgomery. . If everything is true about the many security problems in the past and if nothing was done and you are still traumatized and in fear by what happened there, you have a case right now. All of you who work there and were there during the situation can sue US foods and they cannot fire you and you will win big bucks. Enough where you won’t have to work again. Call an attorney and they will take the case for free.

Sh-t is fu-kef up again. Policemen doing security here don’t give a fu-k anymore and people carrying and doing bud again. I thought the old little security man would come back and check in on us and the y policement and alied guards but they don’t give a fu-k. They sleeping in the cars again. Something gone go down again until people get serious about who working here and how the policemen do what they do.

Happy Easter y’all. I am thinking of quitting. If it is still hard to be there this week, I will have to quit snf find a new job. Mg wife said I should speak to an attorney and sue them because they knew of all of the problems here and didn’t do anything about it and now I am afraid to work anywhere outside of the home. I’m trying but it’s hard.

Thanks to y’all on this site for the kind words and thoughts. Nice of y’all. I didn’t see it here what happened here but there’s been too many violent workplace incidents the last 6 months. We have had numerous violent work place incidents and nothing was ever done. I work upstairs and didn’t hear or see anything but was still scared. This time two execs came down who looked like us and they spoke to us and listened . Thanks to y’all for taking time to comfort those on the floor. We appreciate y’all two. Someone must of listened to y’all because this time something was done.

I’m not sure which is more tragic, the shooting or that it happened after so many violent problems there and it appears from what is written below that our legal leaders are the ones that manage violent threats, did not take the right course of action to keep them safe after all of those things that occurred. My thoughts are with all of you. I worry about that everyday where I work and to hear that happened so many times before there and US Foods legal leaders didn’t do anything to prevent more of it is very concerning and I can’t stomach that.

I just want to know who is getting fired over this sh-t. We have had many fights and g-ns here at work before and happened many times and nothing gets done to stop this sh-t. It gets worse and we had like 3 this year. This one girl got her a-s whooped by someone that came in off the street this month and the police that was here when this happened said they were just out here about g-ns in our parking spots. Who ever is in charge of violent security either don't care about us or they don't know what they be doing. Or they racist and dont care most of us are black. I am going to go get some pep spray today to bring to work. Its easy to get it in. It won't stop a g-n but most everything else. I can't keep hoping US Foods does it right, These security men aint sh-t. We can still bring things in and they arent everywhere and I saw one sleep in his car next to mine yesterday with a g-n on him so I have to do me myself.

Does anyone know if pulling the fire alarm when the shooting started a good idea? The US Foods training really ain't sh-t and doesn't say much about what to do except hide run fight. My brother's friend is a police men and I talked with him and he said I should find better training. Does anyone know where I can get more? I am working but don't know what to do if it happens again. My sister works for airospace company and there training is much better and they do it in there work plant once a year. Who do I call about where to get more training? The police men told me to ask at work so I am asking there and now any of all of y'all out there. I am still a little frightined.

Nah, they talked about that’s how they could bring them in but they didn’t. Just talk gurl. We were scared the first night after but that psyche man in the office got everyone stood back up. He was big help.

Thanks for the thoughts y’all. This is not a safe place. Even now we can get in with anything. They ain’t checking shoes and hats and I held out a jacket and they scanned my body and forgot my coat. I had a box cutter in it that I used at home and forgot to take out. We just keep looking around since they haven’t caught him. A couple of boys here are still bringing what we need in case something happens again. We ain’t snitching own them cuz the police take too long to get here and the security mens is old. . Don’t matter no way. They can scan us and when we roll in someone can slide g-n under the fence and pick it up on the way in after the security men check. I heard that’s how the boys is getting them in. People still be gettin high with edibles but they keeps them in they cars. They taking them more now because it’s scary in here but they be acting crazy and it ain’t safe. That’s the life now and it ain’t good.

They ain't even talked to anyone about it here. I witnessed it 2 days ago and no investigation yet. No one's talked to me. It may be good because I would have talked about it yesterday but now I spoke to others and they said the man might come after me for talking and he aint been caught yet so I aint saying sh-t. We know they don't care cuz we black or they think those like are poor white trash here. At my old job, if a fight broke out, my company cared and an investigation started in a few hours and people were removed. They don't give a fu-k here. We have had many many many incidents here and some with g-ns and the work place violence team at US Foods don't do nothing to help make this safe.

It ain't the first time violence has happened here. Theres been 5 or 6 in the last 7 months. Its a damn shame. The police were here in October with the same damn thing in the parking lot and a woman who aint a coworker got in last week and jumped a worker. Theres been more. There's no security here and people don't know how to protect us after workplace violence because we report it and it keep happening. Some one don't know what they be doing.
