Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

It was a good run

I had some good years at allstate. I'm ready for the next chapter and am actually hoping to get laid off with severance instead of transferred to the vendor. Im actually excited to work for a new company. I think allstates downfall was the transformative growth plan

I wish OP best as well and wondering where the Rep Defender HR tool is going to ruin nice moment with their BS.

In B4 it's me that's a soft ball come on : youre paid to attack first syntax and spelling, second anything that factually even makes case why an exiting employee in good faith makes case that Allstate isn't as fresh as daisy. Like an attorney. Nope: Moribund TG tumor.

LS in CCC P&C here. Was told there is no Severance option. Accept "rebadging" or else its considered resigning. Should have taken the Severance when it was offered a few years ago when that situation happened.. I'm a decade in to a Fortune 100 Company that has severed my employment under their name and refused a severance option - sure, they worked a deal that offers the same base pay via a vendor.. but has FAR from anything close to comparable benefits. #Allstate #Allhate
I believed in this company. So much for their highly touted business culture, and saying that customers and employees are in Good Hands. #WeWinTogether

I like your post. It reminds me of my mindset BEFORE TG happened. Now my faith is at zero with the company. Will there even be enough for severance for everyone?? If you're already gently being harassed at work, take that as a clue that they're trying to get you to leave NOW.

I wish you nothing but the best. T Growth was nothing but a marketing ploy to keep employees believing that there may be a plan in place. If you experienced the layoff wave of 2020 you understood that there was no real coherent plan at all other than firing higher paid, older employees, while blaming an “app”. If you’ve been around long enough you’ve likely noticed how much talent the company has pushed out or allowed to leave. This place is on the downward spiral so it’s best to leave now anyways.
