It should be a rule that Executive Compensation can only:

Happen if the company gives everyone a raise.

Increase by the same percentage as the company gave everyone.

The company is net cash flow positive (and not because of some hokey carry forward).

I'm an R&D technician. I got a 35 cent raise last year for "exceeding expectations" or whatever. No one in my department will get raises this year.

You all should have left long ago. What is it gonna take? No one to blame but yourselves people. Charter a jet helicopter and get the heck off this sinking hulk. Worth every penny it costs.

Yeah, crazy, I'm in production sales, had a President's Club year by far, and my VP agreed that they had a crazy way to calculate performance that no one understood and I showed under plan for CEO Club consideration. My VP said he had the same issue, but couldn't do anything about it. I got 2 review, I rated myself a 4. My VP claimed that JB didn't want any reviews over a 2 or 3 because he missed his plan, and he didn't think anyone was worthy of more than a 3 because he missed some revenue numbers. I asked my VP if I would get a raise, and he laughed. Glad to see that SB, JB, and team are in line for bonuses.

What the actual f? We get 1-5% raises on a good year. Receiving NOTHING this year. We are working in poverty, the working poor trying to keep this place a float.

The board is recommending a vote of yes to the shareholders based on the success and importance of reinvention. They are all in on it!

“ Who could fail more at this level and still be a CEO?”

Really? Ever hear of UB?

Steve should want more. He's in his 60s and will never have another job like this again. Who could fail more at this level and still be a CEO? Steve will go out kicking and screaming or want some big balloon payment " cash only please" to float into retirement.
