Having so many rounds of layoffs is deeply demoralizing. It definitely feels like a slow rot.

I left this sh---y company almost a year ago and the layoffs were so demoralizing I feel traumatized and anxious at my new job too. Leave if you can

I'm expecting to be laid off this week, and it's unfortunate because my work ethic shows it. I'm just not there mentally at work anymore, doing bare minimum and wondering if I cared more, would I not be feeling like I'm going to be laid off? Or would it be a waste of time to put in the work because it wouldn't change anything.
I hope I'm not, I love my work team, but I just have this gut feeling I am
