Things definitely got out of hand and a bit one-sided in regard to DEI, but it wasn’t all bad. It just needs better balance. There’s a whole wave of employees who were hired during a certain period that have been completely sc--wed over by this system system—almost like they’re paying and being punished for the mistakes and sins of those who came before them.
Either DEI works or it doesn't. Should not be a lifelong approach to running a company. When it achieves its goals you shouldn't need it anymore. Having good employee performance was never part of the plan. The plan was to mix in people who fit the profile. Over-hiring during COVID is part of these layoffs for sure as well as a side note.

Can't be bothered clicking on some link but that DEI nonsense needs to be eradicated ASAP, Not just from IBM but the planet
That email was weird did we? Or didn’t we? It was just a word salad and I left at the end thinking wtf? Is it stopping or continuing?
