Real Talk Only: Oxy Temperature Check

I know there’s been a lot of tension and speculation lately.
Instead of fueling rumors, I’m hoping to get a realistic temperature check from people actually seeing real signals inside the company.

Leadership messaging or reorgs you’ve noticed
Project delays or cancellations
Changes in hiring/freezes you’re seeing firsthand
Any Insight you feel comfortable sharing

If you’re here just to troll or attack, please move along. This is for those genuinely trying to understand the situation better.

Believe you why? Because you’re an anonymous poster on a moan and gripe website? OK.

It has been a good ride with a few ups and downs, but overall the oil business has been good to me. If cuts happen they happen and there is nothing any of us worker bees can do about it. All any of us can do is try to be the best at our jobs, but sometimes that does not help. Now is a time to keep your head down and produce your best work. Believe me all companies are having serious talks about their financial futures.

I thought that posting on this site was grounds for firing. Wasn’t there an email about this a few years ago.

I saw a few hand signals, and a smoke signal. How is that relevant?
