Thread regarding Morgan Stanley layoffs

Constant anxiety is eating me alive

Between the endless stress and now layoffs hitting left and right, it feels impossible to catch a break. I don’t know how anyone is functioning right now. The whole situation just keeps getting worse, like we’re all stuck in some awful loop. Really could use some tips on how to deal with all of this before I lose it completely.

Take it one day at a time and know you're worth. Easy to say but not as easy to do, try to disassociate yourself from your environment, it's just a job. You can get through it, remember to breathe.

The best antidote to anxiety is to trust your unknown future to a known God. Peace

Save up some savings. Treat this as “it is just a job to help pay for the bills”. Use the company benefits while you can. If you are really anxious , your doctor might help you get a sick leave.

At this point, I would recommend to leave and surrender and believe in greater good of things that are meant to happen. Practice some meditation and try to think it in a way whatever will happen will be for your greater good. I know its hard but nothing ends here, every end will always give a new beginning. Believe.

Maybe starting working for soulless billionaires as a lowly peon was not the brightest idea to begin with.
