Abby doesn’t like layoffs.
Abby doesn’t hire for a bull market and doesn’t fire for a bear market.
- Hire a competent forecaster
- Hire competent Human Resource Department
- Keep your employees happy
- Find Abby a soul
Instead of cutting people like grass, stop with all the free stuff for staff. Big dollars.
Abby is finally looking at the HR leadership teams. There are so many rotten eggs who have been there for years with little or no knowledge of corporate philosophy and leadership skills. Having lost many professionals to competitors due to lack of support by Human Resources, the production teams are fed up of internal bureaucracy and personal preferences.
There have been bad times in the market since I’ve been at the firm, I haven’t heard of a layoff because of the market since the 08 crisis.
Fidelity doesn’t like to fire people, Abby prefers to lay people off.
We have been going through river of anxiety since almost two years now, in the name of restructuring, business model changes whatever BS they are calling.
The leaders are leaving their position immediately, entire division overnight is moved under another leader.
You do the math, market is just an excuse, they decided this long time ago
Big firms as Fido, doesn't need reason to do what they do (layoffs).
They just make sure they're not in a position to be sued and defamed by any employee who they run the wrong way by ensuring proper policies are in place by HR.
And then market crash is just timing made in heaven (for Roger and co).
As other posts attested, April 22nd
