Did anyone who has IBM shares get a notice in the mail about IBM making a charitable $1 donation to Junior Achievement USA for every shareholder account that votes this year ?
Consider the way that the IBM layoffs are conducted with large numbers of US employees being laid off or just let go from IBM on one flimsy excuse or another; the jobs are then shipped off to the favorite jobs destination, India. It seems like sheer hypocrisy from Alvind and his Pipmunks to even consider a donation to a US Charity given the ill treatment of IBM US employees. After all, it's not likely to amount to more than a few thousand dollars at most. And why mention the global economy in the message when no one gives a cr*p about the global economy these days, except perhaps Alvind and Krabanaugh ? Certainly not the guys in Washington who want tariffs. Or the IBM folks being shown the door after doing a good job for many years.
